How to connect Twilio or Telnyx number?

You must get your number verified by the service provider (either Twilio or Telnyx) before you can send messages using Hiro application.

How to connect a Twilio number?

How to add a Twilio number:

  1. Set up the number in Twilio
  2. Log into your Hiro account
  3. Click on “Creator Settings” (bottom left menu)
  4. Click on “Phone” tab (upper menu)
  5. Add you “Account SID” and “Account Token” (these can be found in your Twilio dashboard)
  6. Select the number you want to use with Hiro, hit save
  7. And that’s it!

Enter your login credentials and click the “Sign In” button.

Select Creator Settings.

Select Phone.

To add Twilio numbers, copy and paste the SID and Account token. These can be found in your Twilio account dashboard.

Then click Connect.

Twilio Verification

Text messages won’t be sent by Twilio until your number is verified by their team. This usually takes around 3-4 days to complete.

The verification form can be a little confusing. We did our best to guide you with the answers, but many depend on your business and how you intend to use Hiro and text messaging.

How to connect Telnyx number?

How to add a Telnyx number:

  1. Set up the number in Telnyx
  2. Log into your Hiro account
  3. Click on “Creator Settings” (bottom left menu)
  4. Click on “Phone” tab (upper menu)
  5. Add you “API Key” and “Public Key” (these can be found in your Telnyx dashboard)
  6. Select the number you want to use with Hiro
  7. And that’s it!

Connect your Telnyx number by copying the API Keys from the Telnyx dashboard and pasting them in the fields shown below.

Click Connect.

Telnyx Verification

Text messages will not send until you have your number verified by Telnyx. This requires you to provide some details about your texts and usually takes around 48 hours.

Follow the steps in this Telnyx article to verify your number.

You only need Level One verification.
