How do I send the RSS link myself?

You are here:

Want full control over how your listeners get access? You can send the RSS link yourself using your email platform (like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc.) or automation tools like Zapier, Pabbly, or GoHighLevel.

Step 1: In Hiro

In your Show Settings, under Step 2: Access and Notification Email Settings, select:

“I’ll send the email myself”

This tells Hiro not to send the access email — you’ll do it.

Step 2: In Your Email Platform (like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc.)

  1. Create two custom fields in your contact list: • One for the RSS Feed URL • One for the Install Page URL (makes it easy for listeners to open your feed in their favorite podcast app)
  2. Write your access email – Include either the RSS or Install Page link
  3. Set up an automation so this email sends when a contact is added to the correct list or tag for that specific show ❗ Don’t just blast a general link — access is tied to the correct show

Step 3: In Zapier, Pabbly, GoHighLevel, or Hiro’s Public API

  1. Create a new Zap or Trigger
  2. Select Hiro.fm as the trigger app
  3. Choose the appropriate trigger: – New listener via Hiro sales page or New listener via other platform
  4. Select the specific Show the listener is getting access to
  5. Connect your email platform (e.g., Mailchimp)
  6. Choose the action (like Add or Update Contact)
  7. Map in the listener’s name, email, RSS Feed URL, and/or Install Page URL
  8. Save and turn it on!

This setup ensures your listeners get the right access to the right show — and gives you total control over delivery.
