Adding your own URL

You are here:

This article explains how to add your own URL to use for your sales page and profile pages.

Hiro lets you use your own URL for your no-code sales page and profile page. This can be done a couple of ways. Let’s step through it now:

  1. Navigate to “Settings” (bottom left navigation)
  2. Click on “Domains” (top navigation)
  3. Click “Add Domain”
  4. Enter in the domain or subdomain
  5. Click “Continue”
  6. Add the DNS record to your domain host (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc)
  7. Once the record is added, go back to Hiro and click “I did this”
  8. If it all works out, you will see green validation message. If you receive a failed message, go back to your DNS record and confirm it is set up correctly.
  9. Next, we need to connect that domain to either your profile page or the sales page. (see below)
A domain refers to the name of a website, while a subdomain is a smaller part of the same website. For example, if “mysite.net” is the main domain, then “blog.mysite.net” is a subdomain.

  2. Navigate to page URL and select “Use my own domain”
  3. Select the domain from the dropdown list
  4. If you want the root to the full URL, put a backslash in the path field
  5. If you want another name after the URL, put that in path field
  6. Click “Update” and test
