Hiro customer story · Ali Farrell · Spoonful Creations
A book in the works. Two courses ready to share.
Ali Farrell had a book to write. She also had ideas she wanted to share sooner.
A book can take months. So, alongside that bigger project, Ali started creating audio courses with Hiro. By the time of our interview, she said she had created two courses and was starting to market them.
Affiliate disclosure: Ali said she had joined Hiro’s affiliate program at the time of this interview.
The big project didn’t have to hold up the smaller one
Ali creates books, courses, and resources through Spoonful Creations. She knew her book would take time. In the interview, she described wanting something she could get ready sooner while that work continued.
Audio gave her a format she could work with. And Hiro’s simplicity was part of what drew her in.
Her process was refreshingly ordinary
Ali described using a recording app, exporting an MP3, moving the file to her computer, and uploading it to Hiro. She also mentioned using an inexpensive microphone.
It was a practical way to turn what she wanted to teach into something people could listen to. Record the material. Save the audio. Upload it.
What had changed by the interview?
Ali had moved from working on a longer book project to having two courses created alongside it. She was just starting to market them when we spoke.
For someone with a bigger project underway, that’s a useful possibility: pick one smaller topic you can teach now, and give it a format you can finish.
